Zuma Dionys, the artistic project of Russian musician and producer, based in St. Petersburg and began his DJ career in 1999. Over more than two decades, he has developed a distinctive sound shaped by his fascination with different cultures, traditions, and the meeting point between ancient sounds and contemporary electronic music.
His music moves across Downtempo, Deep Electronic, Organic, Ethnic, Oriental, and Psychedelic territories. Combining hypnotic rhythms, organic textures, atmospheric soundscapes, and traditional musical influences, Zuma Dionys creates immersive productions that transcend conventional genre boundaries. A transformative ritual experience with an Indian shaman became an important influence on the deeper, slower, and more ethno-electronic direction that defines his sound today.
