Kozmonotosman, the artistic project of Turkish DJ and producer Osman Başaran, reinterprets Anatolian musical heritage through contemporary electronic music. Rooted in the sounds and memories of Turkey’s musical past, he brings archival Anatolian melodies, folk traditions, and psychedelic elements to the modern dance floor.
His musical identity grew from an early connection with the bağlama, later merging with electronic production and the musical culture of 1970s Turkey. His sound moves across Anatolian Folk, Psychedelic, Disco, Funk, and Electronic Music, creating what can be described as a distinctive “disco folk” approach.
