Veleyle, the artistic project of Istanbul-born DJ and producer Ayşe Yılmaz, creates a distinctive blend of traditional musical elements and contemporary electronic production. Her sound combines folk instruments, organic percussion, authentic vocals, psychedelic synths, and hypnotic house grooves, moving across Organic House, Downtempo, ethnic electronic, and psychedelic territories.
Veleyle began releasing music in 2019 with “Harem” on Tamu Music, establishing a lasting connection with the label. Her catalogue also includes releases such as “Mutrib,” “Desert Hippies,” “Nightmare in the Palace,” and “Zaman İllüzyonu” on Rist Records.
